Terry Hill Memorial Children's Traditional Music Scholarship Fund

Terry Hill was a teacher, songwriter, guitarist, producer, performer, sound professional and mentor. His diverse gifts culminated in his musical genius. He was an innovative mover and shaker pioneering in the music world , especially Knoxville, Tennessee. However, Terry's effect on the Knoxville community was even greater than his musical talent had afforded. He inspired and mentored young musical talent in others.

Terry's love of people, of music, most of all, guitar, is verbalized in his own statement: "Everybody who would like to learn to play the guitar, I would like to teach them, whether they can pay or not." Therefore, following his death in 2002, the Terry Hill Memorial Children's Traditional Music Scholarship Fund was established to continue carrying out Terry's heartfelt desire to teach and inspire.
