This Year's Special Guests

Hank Days Special Guests:

Joe Wampler as Hank Williams

I have been interested in music from the time i could walk. My late uncle bobby joe would set with me when i was about 3 and sing Hank williams songs and strum on the guitar. When I got a little older, my momma bought me a guitar (thanks Mom) and I would lock myself in my room for hours listening to everything from Hank,Elvis and Johnny Cash to Merle Haggard. Eventually I taught myself how to play guitar. My Father-in-law, Marion Patterson, was also a big influence and used to say i favored Hank Williams. Over the years I decided to do a Hank Tribute Show so the older country music fans might be able to get another glimps of Hank and to share with all the younger generation who Hank was and how important his music is. And most of all I Have Fun!!! I am also a proud member of the George D. Hay foundation In Mammoth Springs Arkansas. Through my interest in music and other important people in my life, I have got to record with Grammy award winning producer Billy Williams, and have had the privalidge to mingle With people such as Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, The Jordanaires, Little Jimmy Dickens, Garth Brooks and others. I look forward to seeing everyone at Hankdays!
Its gonna be a Blast.

God bless, Joe Wampler
